Monday, March Madness kicks off the week

March 22, 2021

March Madness continues with the 2021 NCAA tournament, and we have finally reached round 32.

Sunday was the first day of the men's Tournament, the beginning of the second round; it was an excellent start with three double-digit seeds advancing to the Sweet 16 following down-to-the-wire games.

Illinois and Loyola went to battle Sunday afternoon with only 35 games old, and they played the most resulting match of the Tournament yet.

A day after five teams seeded no higher than 12 won their opening-round games, and we saw three more shocking results in the opening slate of Round 2 matches.

Eight-seed Loyola Chicago handled 1-seed Illinois, 11-seed Syracuse outlasted 3-seed West Virginia, 15-seed Oral Roberts became only the second team on its seed line to make the Sweet 16, and 12-seed Oregon State continued its Cinderella run past4-seed Oklahoma State.

Fans are waiting for the NCAA Tournament to kick off today with the ultimate lunchtime matchup! Due to the severe change-up in the schedules due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA games will conclude with eight games in which Ohio, UCLA, Abilene Christian, and Maryland could all add to that count.

Plenty of exciting matches on the cards starting with 7-seed Oregon playing its first game of the Tournament against 2-seed Iowa and Sporting News Player of the Year Mr. Luka Garza.
