Djokovic reveals he will focus his energy towards winning more Grand Slam titles!

A huge congratulations to Novak Djokovic who beat Daniil Medvedev in yesterday’s Australian Open final.

The Serb praised Rafael Nadal for inspiring him to his victory. The victory did come at a small price though as Djokovic admitted he would have to spend some time on the side lines recovering from a muscle tear in a previous round.

Novak Djokovic’s has won the Australian open 2021, yet another win to add to his grand slam victories making this his 18th and all by the age33 years old.

The Serb beat Daniil Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2 last night in his final to push to his total win of 18, two behind Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

Rafael Nadal won the French Open a spectacular 13 times – an achievement that Andy Murray called "one of the best records in sport" – while Roger Federer has won Wimbledon only 8 times.

Since winning the tournament for the first time in 2008,Djokovic has only lost four matches, one against Andy Roddick and the other against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the quarter-finals in 2009 and 2010 and then to Denis Istomin and Chung Hyeon in 2017 and 2018.

Djokovic says he is unsure where and when he will next play.
