King Derrick Henry has gifted each of his linemen a gold rope chain with a medallion that features a crown at the top along with "2K" spelt in diamonds.
As per ESPN –The Tennessee Titans - Derrick Henry became the eighth player in NFL history to reach the 2,000-yard mark, finishing with 2,027 yards - the fifth-highest total.
While Henry has been recognized for winning the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year award, the fifth-year running hasn't hesitated to credit his offensive line.
That's why King Henry gifted each offensive lineman a gold rope chain with the expensive diamond encrusted medallion that also includes each player's name engraved on the back.
The official Twitter account of the Tennessee Titans posted a video on their Twitter accounts of the sparkling medallion, captioned - Derrick Henry with a surprise for his O-Line
The jewellery is the latest in a line of gestures Henry has made to show his appreciation for the men up front.
In 2019 Henry awarded each of his offensive linemen a Rolex of their choice after they helped him clinch the NFL's rushing title in 2019. Then, Henry made sure they were taken care of at Christmas when he had arcade-style Pac-Man games sent to each lineman.
In Henry's mind, it only fits to take care of his linemen because they take care of him! What an excellent way to make them feel genuinely appreciated. Teamwork makes the dream work - they call him king for a reason.
