Colorado sports betting revenue increased to $19.7 million

Despite the state's revenue loss, Colorado sports betting revenue increased to $19.7 million in June.

In June, gross gaming revenue from sports wagering totaled $17.6 million (£12.7 million/€14.9 million), up 15.8% from $15.2 million in May this year and 700.0 percent more than $2.2 million in June last year.

In June, online betting brought in $19.5 million in sports wagering revenue, compared to only $195,946 from state-run retail sportsbooks.

Players wagered $229.8 million on sports in June, down 10.1 percent from $249.0 million in May and the lowest monthly total of the calendar year. A total of $227.1 million was wagered with internet sportsbooks, with the remaining $2.7 million wagered at retail bookies.

Basketball was the most popular sport to bet on in Colorado during the month, with $74.9 million in total bets.
