GiG’s affiliate site World Sports Network (WSN.com) has gone on to increase their presence in the US by acquiring a sports betting Vendor Minor license from the Colorado Ltd Gaming Control Commission.
GiG Media is now operating in seven states across the US, the first affiliate vendor registration was in New Jersey, occurring in January 2019. Almost a year later, in December 2019, they acquired a sports wagering certificate of registration in the state of Indiana, and February 2020 saw the Pennsylvania Keystone State come on board.
As the 18th state in the United States to make sports betting legal, and according to the sports betting industry leader H2 Gambling Capital, Colorado have the potential to earn a staggering $200M in revenue when operating at full power.
Managing Director of GiG Media, Jonas Warrer was quoted assaying that they were delighted to be able to further strengthen their position in the US. He added that WSN.com was continuing to gain momentum in the US market and that Colorado provided them an even greater opportunity to convert tourists into players as legal sports books was to begin accepting customers in the state.
