Chiefs Survive in Miami and Brady’s Bucs Bounce Back

December 14, 2020

It was an exciting day of football across the NFL, and none were as exciting as the scenes unravelling in Miami. The Dolphins were making Patrick Mahomes look mortal again, showing signs of vulnerability.

Early in the game, Mahomes took a 30-yard sack as Jerome Baker Jr. took him down while retreating to his end zone.

There was more misery for Mahomes and the Chiefs as Miami picked him off three times, which is one interception more than Mahomes had thrown all season so far.

That wasn’t the story she wrote though, Mahome recovered, going 24 from 34 for 393 yards. Miami pulled back within 6 with 4:15remaining on the clock but didn’t have the juice to stop all those Kansas City play makers on offence.

In Tampa, Tom Brady was leading his teampotentially riding a three-game losing streak, his first three-game slide since2002.

Brady went 15 from 23 for 196 yards and twotouchdowns - one of which was to ‘blocking’ tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The Bucs took advantage of Vikings mistakesand poor kicking, snapping the streak with a strong 14-26 win.
