It was 1995 and the Buffalo Bills were at the end of the road, for one of the NFL’s most talented rosters in history. Jim Kelly and co were celebrating their sixth division title in eight years.
Nobody would have guessed that it would be 25years or 9134 days until their next taste of division success.
You’d be forgiven for thinking it felt like a lifetime between titles, because it really has. Bills QB Josh Allen wasn’t even born yet.
The rest of history was full of disappointment, but this season has been their best of the century.
Josh Allen was dominant in the 48-19 win against the Broncos, throwing for 359 yards and four scores.
Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs had a big game before leaving with a foot injury. Diggs 11 catches for 147 yards gives him1314 yards over 111 catches on the season.
Their goal before the season was to win the AFC East so that they can host a playoff game.
Mission accomplished for head coach Sean
McDermott and the Bills collective, but this ride is just beginning.
